Rayzl Feuer, who received smicha as a Mashpia Ruchanit (Spritual Guide) has this to say about this event in her life.

G-d has truly blessed me. The experiences of my life have not always been easy but have served me well.  Each circumstance provided a necessary bit of information about how to cope with life's hardships and helped me to understand the importance of building connections with the earth and all her inhabitants and with the Divine.  When I was 17, I met my friend and husband Richard who has been my spiritual guide and partner.  We walk this life together supporting each other's conviction to serve and help build a better world.  My children Jenny Rose and Eli Daniel help me to understand the paradox of holding on and letting go.  I continue to study and teach as well as lead a newly formed Havurah and promise to do my best to stay in touch with what I have come to understand as holiness.

I am deeply grateful to my mentors Rabbi Andrea Cohen-Kiener, Phyllis Ocean Berman, Reb Zalman Schachter Shalomi, and Rabbi Marcia Prager and to all the many teachers, too many to name, who have nurtured and trusted me, and for this great honor. I pray for humility as I walk forward.
